So, I'm finished with my first ever paid commission! Thanks to dinobert06 (

) for commissioning me! It means a lot ^^ She wanted a picture of Aang in the Avatar State to put on a T-Shirt, and let me tell you this is one sight I would
not want to encounter in a dark alley. Ass-kicking Avatar. xD
I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out, honestly. Aang looks good! And I got to practice my element CGing x) It was pretty difficult seeing as there are pretty much NO tutorials on how to CG elements in a simplistic anime/cartoon manner, only the realistic kind, and that was just not going to look right if Aang was cel-shaded. So I had to figure it out all on my own x) I think I did pretty well. :3
I don't really have anything else to say, really, so that's it. As always, any constructive criticism is welcome, and enjoy!

but please
Edit: Tweaked his legs to hopefully look more foreshortened so it's easier to tell that both are bent, and added highlights from the fire.
How could I have missed this piece of awesomeness? Dx Like, where have I been? X.x
I really like your take of the Avatar State. Now we can get a better, clearer view of him. ;D xD And instead of it swirling around him everywhere, he can concentrate the elements water and fire with seperate hands- I bet that makes fighting easier.
Overall, nicely done! ^^
it's a cooool pic. I would like to see an epic background though!!
As far as the water... lol. Well I guess I tried, and it didn't really turn out as well as I hoped xD I guess I'll have to practice water a lot more, then.
Other people have actually mentioned that about his legs. Both of his legs are actually supposed to be bent, that's why they're the same length. His left leg is just harder to tell because it's foreshortened (or supposed to be... xD) and he's wearing loose clothes. I think the main problem is just with the positioning of his legs altogether, but I'll see if I can't make his leg look a bit more foreshortened. ^^
And lol yea, you're right, I'd like to see an epic background too but the commissioner only paid for a plain one, and besides the picture was going on a shirt so a background might have been kind of lost. I also have no idea what background I'd do for it. Lol.
Thank you for the detailed comment, though! I'm glad you like it ^^
You're very welcome.
